Michael is a young composer on the rise– oftentimes found working in film and theater but just as comfortable in the pop and concert worlds.  The best way to describe to describe his music would be eclectic. Michael loves to draw inspiration from all walks of music and revels in combining traditional orchestral sounds with other-worldly sounds to create unique, emotionally complex, and evocative scores.  There are no rules– the only goal is truth.  With that in mind, he seizes each new musical score as an opportunity to challenge and push himself to be a little bit better than before.  His ultimate goal is not to push boundaries or try and break new ground– it is simply to create a piece of music, whether beautiful or ugly, that resonates with the listener and evokes some kind of emotion from them.  While there definitely is a uniqueness to his scores, he has no problem paying homage to all the great musical talents that exist today and those that are no longer with us.  Without them he wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing today, and he’s forever grateful for their contributions to the world of music and for inspiring him to do this beautiful thing called writing music.
